The first part of our migration series highlighted some established advantages for businesses and technology through adopting a public cloud infrastructure, we have also come across several challenges that impede this transition. Throughout our interviews, it became evident that CIOs generally acknowledge the need for a hybrid strategy, integrating on-premise resources with public cloud services, as the most viable approach, even in the face of a ‘cloud-first’ directive. In the second part of our migration series, we will not only pinpoint the obstacles identified but also share insights on the barriers that hinder these transitions, despite the well-documented business and technical gains tied to migrating to a public cloud.
