McAfee used anonymized, aggregated customer data from 30 million CASB users to show trends in cloud use and threats between January and April 2020, as the world transitioned to working from home. Findings revealed a massive increase in use of collaboration services and an even larger increase in threats from external actors targeting cloud accounts. All of this highlights the need for users to track their cloud use and be able to detect and stop threat actors trying to access their accounts and steal data.
